| The tunnel tent’s wind cheating stability, standing properties and effectiveness are the basis of the unique Huntech bivvys. Designed around an Easton 7075 E9 aluminium alloy pole the bivvy has steep sides and one end closed off, to stop the rain blowing in. The sprung pole makes the bivvy largely free standing with only the open end needing tying off. The sloping end is designed to be pitched into any wind giving the fly good wind shedding properties. There are also additional tie down points, on the hoop and the centre of the sloped end, for use in storm conditions. And lastly it is quick and simple to erect requiring only five pegs. Two Man Bivvy Floor A PVC coated nylon floor is available for the Huntech Two man bivvy. They have tabs which can be secured by shock cord to the four pegs which hold down the bivvy. A traditional fly 3 x 4 metres. The fly has been designed with additional tie off points and ridge loops so it pitches more efficiently.
